๐Ÿ“– About Neem

Neem (Azadirachta indica), known as Nimba in Sanskrit, is one of the most versatile medicinal trees in the world, often called the "Village Pharmacy" in India. Over 130 biologically active compounds have been isolated from neem, making it one of the most pharmacologically complex medicinal plants known.

In Ayurveda, Neem is classified as Tikta (bitter) Rasayana โ€” a purifying rejuvenative that primarily acts on the blood and skin. It is Krimighna (anti-parasitic), Kandughna (anti-itch/anti-allergic), Vishagna (detoxifying), and Kushthaghna (anti-skin disease). Its cooling bitter properties make it a premier Pitta and Kapha-pacifying herb.
